About Pure Horizons
Pure Horizons was founded by Mike Varallo to give men in early recovery what he needed most when he got sober: a safe home, real structure, and people who understand.
Mike Varallo has seven years of continuous sobriety and is a well-known, active member of the recovery community in Doylestown and across Bucks County. He knows firsthand that the first months after treatment are when a man needs support the most, and that the right living environment can make all the difference.
That is why Mike built Pure Horizons to a higher standard. The house is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, the kind of place residents are proud to call home. It is a substance-free environment where every man is expected to respect the house, his housemates, and his own recovery.
Living at Pure Horizons is about more than a bed. Residents build the principles that carry them through life in recovery: honesty, accountability, responsibility, service, and brotherhood. Through house meetings, shared chores, regular attendance at recovery meetings, and working or going to school, men learn to show up for themselves and for each other, one day at a time.
“Recovery is built one day at a time, and it is never built alone.”
